Scripture:
Hebrews 4:13
"Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account."
Reflection:
Hidden sin is a barrier to our relationship with God. Achan's story in Joshua 7 illustrates how concealed sin can lead to spiritual defeat and loss of courage. God sees all, and nothing is hidden from His sight. When we harbor sin, it not only affects us but can also impact our community and our witness. Confession and repentance are vital to restoring our relationship with God and regaining our spiritual courage.
Prayer:
Lord, search my heart and reveal any hidden sin. I confess my shortcomings and ask for Your forgiveness. Help me to live transparently before You, trusting in Your grace and mercy. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Action:
Take time today to examine your heart. Ask God to reveal any hidden sin and confess it to Him. Consider seeking accountability from a trusted friend or mentor to help you walk in freedom.
