Scripture:
Hebrews 10:24-25
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
Reflection:
The Israelites marched around Jericho together, united in their faith and purpose. Courage is often strengthened in community, where we can encourage and support one another. Reflect on the importance of being part of a faith community that spurs you on in your walk with God. Consider how you can be an encouragement to others, helping them to stand strong in their faith.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for the gift of community. Help me to be an encouragement to others, and surround me with people who will spur me on in my faith. May we stand together in courage, supporting one another as we follow You. Amen.
Action:
Reach out to someone in your faith community today. Offer words of encouragement or support, and consider how you can be a source of strength for them. If you’re not already part of a small group or Bible study, consider joining one to build deeper connections.
