Scripture:
Psalm 119:89
"Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens."
Reflection:
Like a plant that blooms perpetually through every season, God's Word remains constant and unchanging. Whether you're on the mountaintop or walking through the valley, whether experiencing joy or grief, God's Word speaks into your situation. It doesn't shift with cultural trends or popular opinion—it stands firm because it's established in the heavens where God rules. The truth you read today is the same truth that sustained believers centuries ago and will sustain those who come after you.
Think about the season you're in right now. Are you tempted to think God's Word doesn't apply to your modern circumstances? Remember: His Word is perpetual, designed to bloom in every season of your life.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You that Your Word never changes. When everything around me shifts and storms rage, help me anchor myself to the eternal truth of Scripture. Give me confidence that what You've spoken stands firm forever. In seasons of doubt or confusion, remind me that Your Word is as relevant today as it was when You first breathed it into existence. Amen.
Action:
Identify one challenging situation you're facing right now. Open your Bible and ask God to speak His eternal truth into that specific circumstance. Write down what He shows you.
