Living Stones Built Together

     Scripture:
1 Thessalonians 5:11
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

  Reflection:

One solitary stone makes a good doorstop—but it doesn't build much of anything. When stones are stacked together with purpose and precision, they create structures that last for centuries. The same is true for us as believers. We weren't designed to live isolated Christian lives. We need each other. When we encourage one another, serve together, and speak life-giving words, we're building something that will outlast us. The legacy we leave isn't about individual achievement—it's about what we build together as the body of Christ. Every person matters. Every gift is needed. Every generation has a role to play.

Prayer:
Lord, forgive me for the times I've isolated myself or failed to value others in the body of Christ. Help me to see every person at Victory Family Church as a living stone You're using to build Your house. Show me who needs encouragement today. Give me words that build up rather than tear down. Connect me more deeply to my church family so that together we can leave a legacy of faith for those who come after us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Action:
Reach out to someone in your church family today with a word of encouragement. Send a text, make a call, or write a note. Be specific about how you've seen God working in their life or how they've blessed you. If you're not currently serving, contact Pastor Leah about finding your place in ministry.
