Unwavering Faith

Scripture:
Joshua 14:6-9

"You know what the Lord said to Moses, the man of God at Kadesh Barnea about you and me. I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh Barnea to explore the land. And I brought him back a report according to my convictions."

Reflection:

Caleb's faith was not just a fleeting moment of belief; it was a steadfast conviction that endured through decades of waiting. Despite the negative reports from the other spies and the discouragement of the people, Caleb held onto God's promise with unwavering faith. This kind of faith requires a deep trust in God's character and His word. Consider the promises God has given you. Are you holding onto them with the same conviction, or have doubts and delays caused you to waver? Remember, God's timing is perfect, and His promises are sure.

Prayer:
Lord, I ask for the strength to have unwavering faith like Caleb. Help me to trust in Your promises and hold onto them, no matter how long it takes for them to be fulfilled. Let my faith be rooted deeply in Your word and Your character. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Action:
Write down a promise from God that you are holding onto. Place it somewhere you can see daily as a reminder to trust in His faithfulness. Each time you see it, take a moment to thank God for His promise and reaffirm your trust in Him.
